Widdoes Vineyard designated Pinot Noir, The wine starts with a deep red color and solid red core. Concentrated aromas of berry fruit, cinnamon, caraway seeds, vanilla extract, forest floor and mushroom followed by classic Russian River cherry cola character. Good tannins with a lush palate complete this wine. Utah Small Winery Pricing

Review

90 Points - Robert M. Parker, The Wine Advocate
"The most restrained wine of this group is the 2008 Pinot Noir Widdoes Vineyard. Playing it closer to the vest than its 2007 counterpart, the 2008 exhibits abundant wild strawberry and berry fruit intermixed with notions of cola and damp earth. Medium to full-bodied with some tannin as well as a narrowly constructed, reserved personality, it should open with another six months of bottle age, and drink nicely for 4-5 years." 90 Points - Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar "Deeper-pitched nose than the Chimera, offering plum, spices, smoke, earth and caramel lifted by rose petal. Richer and lusher in the mouth, with a distinctly more tactile texture but good grip to the red fruit and spice flavors. A captivating floral quality leavens the impression of ripeness. Finishes with sweet tannins and lingering red fruits."
