About
In the heart of the Russian River Valley, the Alberigi Vineyard, sourced exclusively by Radio-Coteau, lies on a stretch of Vine Hill Road renowned for its Goldridge soils. In 2009, we harvested on August 31st and included 27% whole cluster. The lignified mature stems smelled of spice and earth, adding a layer of complexity to the fermenting must.
Only 7 cases available for Utah, on-premise only.

Review
2009: 95 points, STEVEN TANZER'S INTERNATIONAL WINE CELLAR,
May/June 2011
“(50% new oak; fermented with 27% whole clusters): Bright ruby. Highly expressive, heady bouquet of red and dark berries and flowers, along with exotic incense and herb qualities; I'll bet you could smell this from ten feet away. Juicy, sharply defined and sweet, offering strawberry and black raspberry and lavender flavors complemented by suave vanilla and spicecake nuances. Really stains the palate, finishing on a gently sweet note, with great persistence. One of the best pinots that I tasted from this vintage, which is one that isn't short of standout wines.”
