2008: 90 Points “Bright red. Redcurrant and cherry aromas are complicated by smoke and herb nuances, with a hint of dark chocolate in the background. Fleshy and expansive on entry, then firmer in the middle, offering concentrated cherry and red plum flavors and a late jolt of tangy acidity. Finishes with good lift and focus, repeating the cherry note and showing a refreshingly bitter edge. Pretty grown-up in style, and possessing the depth to age. This wine, from the estate Momtazi vineyard, came from biodynamically farmed grapes and the winemaking is also certified biodynamic by Demeter.”
