About
In Roussillon, in the village of Maury is a vineyard that has been called 'Cabirau' for over 100 years. At the beginning of 2007 its 70 acres were divided into 72 parcels, with 15 owners. Today there is a Domaine Cabirau, consisting of 10 contiguous acres as well as an additional 2 nearby acres. Three contiguous acres have been purchased and replanted this year, as have 1.5 already owned acres. Four more nearby acres are under lease.

2009: 92 The Rhone Report
2008: 92-93 Points, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, Aug 2009
"Named for the latest pair of gentlemen who oversee his vines and the vinification of this tank-raised cuvee, the 2008 Grenache Serge & Nicolas incorporates not only another year's experience, but also a one-third proportion of fruit from really old vines unavailable for last year's "Serge & Tony" cuvee. A gorgeous aroma of smoke-wreathed pomegranate, red raspberry, sandalwood, and vivid, clean, raw red meat leads to a mouthful of vividly fresh red fruits right down to the seeds, augmented by crushed stone, licorice, and persistently striking carnality. This rich yet refreshing, practically indelible essence of Grenache can stand comparison with many a top-notch Chateauneuf-du-Pape, and I imagine (despite the absence of track record) that it will go on performing brilliantly for a half dozen or more years. $20" -D.S.
