"Oakville’s least expensive offering is the 2008 Zinfandel Field Blend (77% Zinfandel and 23% Petite Sirah). A killer value, this stunning red offers loads of blueberries, blackberries, cherries, pepper and spice. I see more Petite Sirah than Zinfandel character in this wine, but the suppleness of the tannins, the opulence and almost explosive richness make it an undeniable star. Consumers should buy this 2008 by the case as it should age well for 10-15 years."
