Since cutting their production by more than two-thirds and focusing exclusively on estate-owned and farmed vineyards, Vine Cliff has vaulted up the quality ladder. Their Chardonnay is liquid evidence that when viticulture and winemaking are done hand-in-hand, special things are possible. Peach and pineapple, apricot and vanilla custard… there's a lot going on in the glass. Fact is, these guys could be charging a lot more than they are based on what it tastes like. Plan and purchase accordingly.
