After only a handful of vintages Enrico Santini has made a name for himself as one of the most dynamic and respected new producers in Bolgheri.  In the midst of Bolgheri's larger estates, Santini is a true "garagiste" in the region, with only 13 hectares of vineyards and having transformed his garage and the basement of his home to a winery.  A native of Bolgheri, from the village of Castagneto Carducci, he produces limited quantities of blends from separately vinified varietals.  All the wines come from his own organically farmed estate vineyards.

Only 600 cases have been produced of this blend of 60% Vermentino and 40% Sauvignon Blanc. After light pressing, the must is refrigerated for a separation of the solids, followed by cool fermentation and length aging on the lees for added complexity.
