Founded three years ago, the company has quickly became
Oregon’s fastest growing winery. The business model is
simple: to produce and market Oregon’s best wine
values by eliminating unproductive fixed investment and unnecessary
overhead. Moreover, the overwhelmingly variable nature of our costs
gives us great flexibility in adapting to shifts in the marketplace
both in terms of overall demand and specific product offerings.
Mostly showcasing Southern Oregon’s pristine Del Rio and
Abacela Vineyards, A to Z’s 2004 Night & Day is comprised
in the main of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Syrah, Dolcetto, Petit Verdot, Nebbiolo and Tempranillo were
blended in for complexity, heightened aromatics and interest. 100%
barrel-aged with some new wood for almost 18 months; 5,000
cases were bottled in September 2006.

The saturated dark garnet 2007 A to Z
Night & Day has aromas of sun-ripened mixed berries, cherries
and plums which deepen to graphite, truffle, spices, tobacco, oak
and cassis. The wine is juicy, generous and honest in the mouth
with lovely sweet fruit given shape and backbone by a strong ripe
tannic structure. Succulent and long-lasting, the final flavors end
on a strong note of minerality and dark cocoa. Continuing the
tradition of typicity, excellence and affordability demonstrated by
A to Z with Southern Oregon fruit, the 2007 Night & Day should
drink well now and for 5-10 more years. Long hot days, cool nights.
100% Rogue Valley.
